Job environment

Job title of the line manager: Head of the Industrialization Methods Department

Responsibilities:
To guarantee availability of all those resources required by on-site quality teams to inspect every component or tool.

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities: 

• Contribute to preparing the aircraft and tooling inspection sequence
• Train production inspectors
• Prepare inspection reports
• Define the appropriate inspection resources
• Inspect the first components produced
• Suggest corrective actions, based on the analysis of our manufacturing processes and identification of parameter drifts generating dimensional faults
• Develop inspection plans
• Automate inspection data acquisition processes
• Define and build inspection methods
• Use inspection data as the basis for defining process capabilities
• Monitor technology trends
• Address and resolve QSE alerts raised by personnel
• Ensure that your team has the skills required for their jobs (QSE training, accreditations, etc.)
• Support QSE maturity development in your sector

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
