Brookhouse Aerospace is a leading manufacturer of advanced composite and metallic components for the civil and defence aerospace sectors. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Quality Engineer Apprentice.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to begin a career in quality assurance and engineering within the aerospace industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience in quality control processes, learn from experienced professionals, and work towards a recognised qualification.

This role will be studying at Training 2000 based in Blackburn.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Engineer Apprentice, you’ll work under the supervision of experienced quality engineers and gain practical knowledge in key areas, including:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures.
  • Supporting inspections and tests of materials and components.
  • Learning how to analyse test results and support corrective actions.

  • Gaining an understanding of regulatory and internal quality standards (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001).

  • Helping to maintain accurate documentation of inspections and audits.

  • Working closely with departments such as engineering, production, and supply chain to understand how quality is built into every stage of the process.

  • Participating in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities
