Responsibilities:
1.Support and review QA activities to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
2.Support to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.
3.Ensure compliance with AS9100, risk assessments, and workplace standards.
4.Support to implement, maintain, and improve QMS processes per AS9100 requirements.
5.Report QMS performance and improvement needs.
6.Promote awareness of customer and regulatory requirements across teams.
7.Track and improve key quality indicators like defect rates and returns.
8.Provide quality support during production and new product introductions.
9.Ensure availability and adherence to quality control procedures and specifications.
10.Manage calibration as per defined standards.
11.Be responsible for initiatives focused on improving quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
12.Handle and resolve customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
13.Support project teams to ensure smooth new product development and launches.
14.Conduct regular reviews of procedures and recommend necessary updates.
15.Lead APQP activities representing the quality function.
16.Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation for existing and new projects.
17.Investigate nonconformities using quality tools; maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans.
18.Host and manage customer audits and ensure compliance.
19.Monitor specification changes and ensure process updates are implemented.
20.Verify conformity of manufactured and received goods to all requirements.
21.Promote quality culture through waste reduction, return minimization, and accreditation awareness.
22.Conduct performance appraisals and support team development.
23.Deliver quality-related training during onboarding and induction programs.
24.Guide other functions on QA principles and their impact on product quality.
25.Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standard.
26.Resolve customer complaints and lead root cause investigations.
27.Ensure supplier parts meet quality specs; support supplier audits and qualification.
28.Plan and execute process, product, and system audits.
29.Prepare and lead inspections plans.
Requirements:
1.Certified engineer in Aerospace, Mechanical or Chemical or equivalent engineering or with Quality Management certification and Green or black belt certified is recommended
2.Minimum 5 yrs within an Aerospace Quality organization.
3.Strong background in Aerospace manufacturing and quality systems.
4.Hands-on experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), including application of APQP and PPAP methodologies.
5.Solid understanding of AS9100 quality management requirements.
6.Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in inspection processes.
7.Familiar with key aerospace customer requirements, particularly Airbus and Boeing standards.
8.Skilled in the implementation of PFMEA, Control Plans, and core Quality tools across operations.
9.Practical, hands-on experience in applying Quality Engineering techniques on the shop floor.
10.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
11.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively across all business levels.
12.Proven experience in leading teams and facilitating group problem-solving or improvement sessions.
13.Knowledge of modern quality systems, tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.
14.Computer literate, with proficiency in quality-related software tools; familiarity with CATIA and Net-Inspect is an advantage.
15.Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing Quality procedures and process improvements.
16.Technically competent, preferably with a degree in Engineering or a related field.
