Summary:


We are seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to perform and certify aircraft maintenance in accordance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that maintenance activities are completed on time, to the highest standards, and in full compliance with approved procedures.

This role also includes supervisory and administrative tasks essential to the smooth running of base maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as Certifying and Support Staff, exercising privileges as per individual authorization.
  • Supervise and allocate base maintenance activities to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Complete and certify maintenance tasks in accordance with customer work specifications and approved procedures.
  • Ensure organizational procedures and standards are followed at all times.
  • Cooperate with Quality Auditors to facilitate uninterrupted quality functions.
  • Support the implementation of company quality policies and human factors principles.
  • Maintain facilities and working areas to a high standard.
  • Perform maintenance strictly in accordance with approved maintenance data.
  • Record maintenance activities clearly and accurately.
  • Attend required training, including additional aircraft type courses as needed.
  • Use tooling and equipment in compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Report problems and suggest improvements to management when necessary.
  • Ensure documentation and maintenance procedures remain accurate and current.
  • Uphold a Just Culture within the maintenance organization.
  • Submit internal occurrence reports and encourage the same within the team.
  • Prepare and review work packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness before certification.
  • Promote a strong safety and reporting culture focused on continuous improvement.


Qualifications / Requirements:


  • UK CAA Part-66 License (B1)
  • Proven experience supervising base maintenance checks.
  • Current type ratings on one or more of the following aircraft: Boeing 737NG and/or Airbus A320 (CEO).
  • Sound understanding of CAMO procedures.
  • Human Factors, EWIS, and SFAR88 training qualifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to work in accordance with approved maintenance data and standards.
