Job title of the line manager: Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To manage and optimize supply orders for a site (logistics platform, production unit, etc.) or department in accordance with the cost, quality, safety and lead times set, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction.

  • Scope of activities
  • Analyze and process the calculation of procurement needs Negotiate deadlines and place orders according to the given panel and in line with the delegation Track and manage orders and supplies Adapt the article management parameters with a continuous optimization objective Meet inventory and coverage targets Investigate the causes of drift and propose appropriate solutions Reduce the inventory level based on the service-level agreement (SLA) Maintain performance and activity indicators and report on them In the framework of subcontracting agreements, ensure the planning and proper supply of raw materials, in compliance with delivery cycles Analyze inventories of perishable materials and ensure their proper management Develop and manage the procurement plan for suppliers Ensure correct configuration of the information system within his/her scope. Contribute to load organization and planning according to the workshop capacity, in liaison with the various departments (production, storeroom, quality) and customers: management of schedules and priorities Participate in continuous improvement actions Deal with receipt and invoicing disputes efficiently and professionally In the event of an urgent request, negotiate deadlines with suppliers outside the production cycle, seek a specified solution (quantities, dates, etc.) and, if necessary, propose a pre-prepared solution in order to facilitate agreement In the event of non-quality: ensure the part is returned to the supplier and replaced in accordance with deadlines meeting production needs In the event of transfer to another supplier (supplier in default, etc.), adjust the planning, ensure orders are transferred to the new supplier and coordinate the various players in order to meet deadlines
