Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You will support the ongoing development of a Mission Management System to be deployed on civil and military H/C platforms. Your tasks will include typical Systems Engineering activities in accordance with the development logic (system development V-cycle). This will include:
Elaboration of operational concepts and use cases for Mission Management Systems
Requirement engineering, system specification and design activities
Integration, verification and validation activities incl. support to rig, ground and flight testing
System qualification and certification at H/C level
Collaboration with project stakeholders across the company
Support supplier management activities
Desired skills and qualifications
Academic degree in the field of Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar
Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering methodologies and first practical experience in application desirable
Understanding of system design, development, integration of complex avionics systems
Outstanding team player and good communication skills
English: business level/fluent, German/French: desirable
