Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Our Mission
The mission comprises the scope of Quality Assurance for engineering activities within Airbus Helicopters. You will support the Quality Assurance engineering team to ensure process adherence & engineering deliverables quality during helicopter development including suppliers’ equipment development.
Our colleagues act as coaches facilitating quality assurance and engineering methods. We ensure quality end to end consistency coordination with other quality function within our company.
Your location
At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Donau, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities
support Engineering Quality Assurance Team
Prepare quality assurance documentation for quality gates
support to business administration within the international Quality Assurance Team
AS IS development process analysis including improvement potential
Support to process harmonization projects in international environment
Deliverables availability & deliverables quality assessment
Participate in development quality gates (internal & external)milestones reviews.
Act as link between the international quality assurance teams
Desired skills and qualifications
University degree in the area of aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering or an equivalent field of study
First practical experience in the field eningeering and quality
Knowledge in Systems Engineering, Quality Standards (EN9100), Development regulations
Good knowledge in Google Workspace
Ideally hands on experience within transnational workspace
Analytical approach on topics to identify present situation and define actions
Strong ability to work autonomously
Excellent communication skills and team spirit
Open minded and welcome problem attitude and you bring curiosity
Language Skills: English - negotiation level, German - fluent, French - desirable
