Upgrade Service Delivery & Supply Chain Operations
Overall responsibility:
Steering of the overall Upgrade Systems material delivery planning from industrial setting through delivery to the customer's embodiment organization. Material delivery on-time, quality and cost.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Supply chain industrialization:
Coordination of the complete upgrade material supply chain. Part of an Airbus Upgrades Project Core team: Responsible for the on-time and on-quality delivery of the material to the external customer. Main interface between internal customers, external customers and the internal aftersales organization the project and the supply chain and kitting organisations.
Definition and maintenance of appropriate industrial capacity (cost, lead-time, risk) for the project in line with Upgrade Services processes, regulation requirements and Airline’s expectations
Collection of inputs from the various delivery process contributors & input them into the corresponding production planning tools.
Ensure project objectives with respect to time, cost and quality are communicated & achieved.
Risk mitigation: proactive identification of project risks and implementation of corrective actions (drop shipments, material speculation, etc.)
Support process related improvement projects
Operational tasks:
Material Kit definition based on engineering data and considering logistic rules
Material order handling and follow up and drum-beat (Demand creation and steer downstream activities including those resulted from deviations from standard process)
Delivery date calculation and reporting
Kit production scheduling. Monitoring of production activity and resolution of blockages at kit level in our warehouses
Production capacity booking
Coordination of actions with Procurement and Production (fast ordering, fast line production, reservations...)
Customer Claim management
Occasional stand-by service (or on-site support) to support Working Parties
Direct communication with external customer
Deliverables:
Industrial inputs for the upgrade project strategy and for supplier negotiation
Definition of upgrade kits from a logistic point of view (export control, dangerous goods, oversize, procurability...)
Availability of material contractual commitments on time/on cost and quality (Airworthiness & Export Control requirements)
Consolidated material status reports along the upgrade project
Desired skills and qualifications
Completed studies or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in the areas of Disposition (?) / Logistics / Supply Chain
Basic knowledge of Lean-, Project-, Process- and Risk Management
Affinity for process improvement and digitalisation
Experience in Customer Service is a plus
Good knowledge in the use of SAP is a plus
Knowledge in the use of Google Workspace is beneficial
Very good English knowledge English negotiation level
Good German and French knowledge are a plus
