If you are a highly experienced Treatments Operative with at least three years of working experience within an aerospace/manufacturing environment, this could be the ideal role for you:​

Here is what you can expect to be doing:​

The Treatments operative has the responsibility of ensuring workflows through the treatments department and jobs are moved to the next stage of operation in line with production requirements. ​

  • Liaison with the Treatments Team Leader to understand clear production plans (Treatment workload, planning/scheduling). ​

  • Undertaking all departmental tasks delegated by the direct line manager. ​

  • Ensuring their performance within the team is of a high standard. ​

  • Undertaking training and development set by the direct line manager. ​

  • Work with the direct line manager​to assist in the Implementation of all lean practices Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives (Kaizen, toolbox talks, and so forth). ​

  • Discussing, resolving, or escalating issues. ​

  • Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards. ​

  • Supporting the Team Leader in relation to their decisions. ​

  • Daily communication with the Team Leader & Senior Management remains an essential part of the role for production plan compliance. ​

  • Maintain compliance to the Company Code of Conduct. ​

  • Advocate the company policies and procedures through compliance and communications ​

A few things about you:​

  • Experience in running automated production lines (Essential)​

  • Demonstrable experience in Anodising/Alochrome (Desirable)​

  • Self-motivated and proactive​(Essential)​

  • Can plan and organise workload​(Essential)​

  • Key Focus on Quality and continuous improvement​

  • Ability to understand and correctly interpret engineering drawings (Desirable)​

  • Job Stability​

When you are working:​

4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totaling 37 hours weekly. ​

Overtime is available from Friday to Sunday at premium rates of pay.​

  • Holidays start at 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays) (Based on 4 days working week). ​

  • Overtime rates after basic hours are 1.5 of your basic hourly rate, and Fridays and Saturdays​
