Our capabilities include engineering design, manufacturing, testing, and providing specialist personnel, training, and consultancy. We also deliver comprehensive maintenance, systems integration, and product support services.

We are now looking for a Shipping Specialist to take on the following responsibilities:

·         Provide administrative support for all shipping and logistics activities

·         Coordinate the import and export of aircraft and parts in line with company policies and current HMRC/DTI legislation.

·         Follow the compliance requirements when supporting shipments processes under licence and ITAR.

·         Apply the correct Customs Procedure Codes (CPC) for import/export shipments.

·         Prepare and compile shipping documentation for domestic and international movement of materials, cargo, and aircraft.

·         Liaise with freight agents, couriers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

·         Communicate shipment statuses to internal stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations.

·         Maintain organised records of shipping documentation for easy access and audit compliance.

·         Ensure the most efficient and cost-effective shipping options are selected for each requirement.

·         Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage delivery timelines and mitigate risk.

·         Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery, ensuring any issues are resolved swiftly.

·         Filing / organising shipping documentation to enable easy reference complied AEO standard.

·         Proficiency in numeracy and literacy.

·         Experience using business systems (e.g., ERP software).

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

·         Prior experience in international shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding within a fast-paced environment

Additional information:

·         Candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.

·         A valid passport and full UK driving licence are essential.
