Location

Task description
Provide support to the MAP (Mise au Point) Propulsion team, which ensures a permanent readiness of the Aircraft on Systems, Structure and System Installation within the Powerplant perimeter (Engines and APU)
Provide engineering support to production (SA FAL & Customer Line) by performing deep dive investigations and technical assessment of damages and definition of repair solutions for the following perimeter:
- on Structural aspects under ATA54, 71 and 78 perimeter
- on ESI/MSI aspects for systems installation (ATAs 11, 24, 26, 28, 29, 30, 36 & 92) within the pylon and nacelle perimeter
Engineering support includes troubleshooting, tests and analyses activities
Proximity to the Aircraft and participation in MFT meetings can be necessary
After successful MAP Engineering support on structure, further development to enhance skills on the powerplant systems perimeter (ATA26, ATA7x-80 and ATA49) is foreseen in a second step
External and internal interfaces with various stakeholders
Collaboration in the preparation of offers and company presentations
Taking on functional and/or project-related tasks in projects (e.g. technical project planning, topic responsibility)
Preparation of required documentation and presentation of work results
Required qualification
The work task requires knowledge and skills that are generally acquired through a relevant, completed degree programme with a standard duration of up to 4 years in the field of Aeronautic engineer with ideally a specialization in Structure / System installation or comparable degree programmes and a related extended subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject-specific additional qualification. The overall required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways
Skills and competences
Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
Profound knowledge and representative experience in structure, in particular assessment of structure damages and definition of repair solutions
Knowledge and experience in System installation and propulsion environment and related propulsion systems would be a plus
MAP (Mise Au Point) activities experience would be a plus
Knowledge and experience in the Aeronautics domain
Team spirit and team player with exceptional communication skills
Positive and collaborative approach / relational ease
Proactive on all levels, especially with regards to providing Engineering Support to the Final Assembly Line, Customer Line and Flight Test Centre
Language skills: German and English negotiation level, French and Spanish are a plus
On-Call support is necessary
Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
