For our Airline Sales department, within Airline Commercial, we are looking for a:
Sales Manager Airline (m/f/x)
Main Duties :
- Manage and run the commercial B2B collaboration, trainings and visits of B2B clients in Luxembourg and abroad on a daily basis. Be responsible for the indirect sales channel growth, KPIs and results.
- Manage, plan and realise sales actions based on analytical insights, sales data and objectives – including travel agency partners, corporate clients and institutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with B2B partners in accordance with the guidelines and processes in place. Identify and acquire potential new B2B clients for Luxair and LuxairTours.
- Plan, prepare and run sales trips, organise workshops, and commercial events on Luxair and LuxairTours products and services. Represent Luxair at trade fairs and events.
- Manage requests for commercial & goodwill gestures and the handling of sensitive files in collaboration with the backoffice, customer service and claims departments.
- Support and contribute to the development of B2B sales projects, such as Luxair PRO, the Miles & More program, LuxairTours PRO and B2B Portal, CRM and future sales tools.
- Prepare monthly reports of the sales visits & activities. Manage the dedicated B2B marketing funds in line with guidelines and processes in place. Act as a backup for other Sales Team members if necessary.
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate B2B sales results, market developments and trends. Contribute proactively to the development of the overall Luxair and LuxairTours commercial strategy.
Profile :
Minimum required criteria :
- University degree in Business Administration, Tourism or similar line of studies and/or proven experience in a similar position
- Have a good experience in sales, management of B2B sales channels and/or CRM management.
- Be proficient in current computer programs and office tools and demonstrate good statistical software skills.
- Have a strong analytical spirit, good problem solution skills, and be able to proactively identify new sales potentials.
- Accept duty travel, conference and event attendance.
- Be proactive, show the flexibility to adapt to changing market dynamics and priorities - together with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Show very good communication skills in English, as well as skills in French and/or German (spoken and written)
Desired or to be acquired criteria :
- Be able to identify sales potentials, make proposals and show willingness to take ownership.
- Develop very good skills in all aspects of Sales Management (Booking systems, B2B sales, key account management, campaigns, negotiation, CRM, Analytics tools, etc.)
- Be able to work team-oriented and independently, have good organizational skills, as well as communication & negotiation skills.
- Show assertiveness and stress resistance.
- Show a very good spirit to synthesize, have very good analytical and listening skills.
- Have a notion of Luxemburgish and develop the deficient work language (French or German)Avoir une présentation soignée
The ideal candidate :
- Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as an asset.
- Tourism & travel industry experience is beneficial, ideally with a proven track record of +3 years experience.
