Your Mission:
As a Sales Engineer, you will be a key player in our commercial strategy, driving growth and building strong partnerships with leading companies in the aerospace industry. Reporting to the Western Sales Manager (France), you will manage and develop a portfolio of strategic customers, acting as both a technical advisor and a trusted business partner.
Key Responsibilities & Valuable Sales Activities:
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification
Conduct competitive intelligence and monitor market trends, pricing, and emerging technologies.
Identify new business opportunities and potential customers, focusing on BUE (Business Unit Equipment) and BUC (Business Unit Component).
Analyze customer needs and market gaps to propose innovative solutions.
Strategic Account Management
Develop and execute account plans for key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
Build and nurture relationships at all levels within client organizations, from operational contacts to executive decision-makers.
Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction.
Engineering Department
Respond to calls for tenders, leveraging technical proposals from our Design Office in France.
Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial, technical, and contractual offers.
Promote and sell both catalog and custom solutions within Leach International Europe’s areas of expertise.
Implement and maximize the pricing policy to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Commercial Aftermarket Strategy (AFM-CAM)
Drive and support the AFM-CAM commercial aftermarket strategy, ensuring strong positioning and growth in the aftermarket segment.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored aftermarket solutions and service packages.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast, reporting regularly to management.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies to achieve targets.
Project & Program Support
Partner with project managers to ensure program success—on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Support the progress of programs, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
Marketing & Communication
Participate in key marketing events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our solutions and expand our network.
Contribute to communication initiatives, including product launches, technical seminars, and digital campaigns to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Customer Satisfaction & Continuous Improvement
Ensure customer satisfaction through regular visits, proactive issue resolution, and performance monitoring.
Champion new products, provide technical documentation, and deliver rapid, insightful responses to client queries.
Gather customer feedback and relay insights to internal teams for continuous improvement.
