What can you expect from this position?
Reporting to the Associate Director, Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity, this role is responsible for leading the development and execution of data analytics programs in support of Corporate Risk’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives. The role collaborates with stakeholders to understand evolving data needs, optimize processes, and deliver tailored analysis and reporting solutions. It also oversees the continuous improvement and integration of data technologies into risk and resilience management practices, ensuring alignment with GTAA’s corporate strategy and business planning frameworks.
As Program Manager, Corporate Risk Data Analytics Systems and Reporting, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of data analytics and reporting programs to support Corporate Risk’s ERM and BCM initiatives.
- Establish and maintain data governance and reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy, integrity, compliance, and alignment with GTAA’s strategy and business planning.
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and consolidation of data from multiple sources for ERM and BCM programs.
- Develop, document, and maintain data-driven analysis methodologies and tools to extract insights and support informed decision-making.
- Design, manage, and deliver dashboards, portal pages, and reports that provide timely and actionable information to stakeholders and senior management.
- Oversee the integration and adoption of new data technologies and tools to enhance risk analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with business leaders, risk and continuity management, and compliance teams to understand evolving data needs and optimize processes.
- Develop and deliver training and educational materials, including user guides and self-serve tool guidance, to enable effective use of analytics resources.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data processes, methodologies, and corporate risk management practices, recommending enhancements for management approval.
- Support embedding the Corporate Risk framework into the company’s strategic and business planning cycles to facilitate risk-informed decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
This is the role for you, if you have:
- 4 years of relevant experience in data management, risk management, financial analysis, business continuity or disaster recovery.
- Fundamental knowledge of enterprise risk and business continuity management concepts, principles and frameworks including leading practices for change management.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in manipulating and interpreting data, identifying trends, establishing priorities, solving problems and a strong ability to perform sound business analysis and reporting.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in using Microsoft O365 applications and particularly Excel and in relational databases.
- Relevant industry-recognized certifications, such as Project Management, Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Canadian Risk Management (CRM), or International Institute of Business Analysis (BABOK).
- University and/or College degree required in related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
