Are you ready to join a Company that really believes that people are the very heart of the business and really values your contribution? Due to the continued expansion of the business and increasing demands, we’re looking for a Night Manager to join our Airports team at Colnbrook!

As airport supervisor you will have operational responsibility for areas and aspects of Heathrow activity, driving the business forward to ensure targets and the highest possible standards of customer satisfaction are achieved with an engaged and motivated team.  

Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordination of operational activities that support airport service agreements in-line with Company policies to maximize performance of the Department.
  • Engages and involves team to deliver excellent standards of service to both internal and external customers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Supervise and ensure shift rotas are fully staffed and meet airport expectation, working alongside management, logistics and engineering in-order to fulfil daytime/night-time operations.
  • Ensuring airport operations are performing against all agreed targets/budgets and managing cost in-line with real-time business demand.
  • Maximising stock control in-order to support both airport and general activity in Colnbrook, this includes cross-over product with other business units.
  • Control of night-time and daytime stock and logistic movement , ensure designated airport dispatching and collected equipment is processed accurately and assigned to specified areas.
  • Liaising with the Sales team in order to develop new sales opportunities and grow the business.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of work and process are carried out in-line with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring there is effective and clear communication to all colleagues within the Service Centre.
  • To raise the Sunbelt Rentals profile and reputation through professional attitude.
  •  To ensure that all reporting, administration is completed / maintained in line with Company standard.
  • Achieving all key performance indicators in a fast changing and busy environment.
  • Maintaining Company standards whilst working under pressure, ensuring we are always acting safely.
  •  Adhere to and promote all health and safety compliance standards and ensure all employees do the same to generate a safe working environment.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management Team.

To succeed in the role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:

  • Experience in supervising people, motivating and developing others to achieve both success individually and as a group
  • It is essential that you have good communication skills with the ability to influence and represent the Company in a positive, professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate commercial and financial acumen
  • You will be numerate, articulate and have immaculate attention to detail. Ability to understand and work with P&L accounts and budgets.
  • Good planning and organisation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the drive to succeed and to high quality standards.
  •  A safety-first approach and compliance with current H&S legislation and Company specific health, safety and environmental policies and procedures is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills, you’ll have the ability to engage and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Computer literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
