Job Description Summary

This role will execute shipping and receiving tasks, as well as assist in inventory management and staging of critical materials to support maintenance and production schedules to meet customer requirements. All work will be conducted in a manner compliant with EHS and Quality requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive and upload deliveries in a safe and effective manner
  • Check goods against delivery note and purchase order to ensure accuracy
  • Inspect items against drawing to ensure any discrepancies. Reporting any damage to the correct QA person.
  • Record deliveries in warehouse management system (Sage)
  • Label and allocate goods in stores area
  • Monthly stock checks
  • Liaise with sourcing to ensure sure stock is always available for production.
  • Follow Health and safety processes.
  • Deal with Supplier rejects
  • Manage Calibration activities long side production to ensure test equipment is calibrated.
  • Manage COSHH items
  • Supporting with non-conforming materials
  • Kit items following BoM
  • Pack products to be shipped, following procedures
  • Arrange shipments

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Production.
  • Previous stores experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited to MS-Office products.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and be initiative-taking to accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
