Task Responsibilities:

This strategic role of Manager Maintenance Programs, Reliability & Data Engineering oversees the teams responsible for the maintenance program, reliability program, aircraft troubleshooting, technical library and services, and data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the department’s vision, goals and operations.

  • Establish and maintain standards to assure that the Maintenance Programs, Reliability & Data Engineering functions remain in compliance with the goals and objectives of Maintenance and Engineering division and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure that the technical content of the Maintenance Program is accurate and effective.

  • Ensure that the Reliability Program and the Reliability Reports provide the data required to identify and analyze areas of concern in order to plan and establish actions to improve the dispatch reliability of the Cargolux and Cargolux Italia fleet of aircraft.

  • Approve Maintenance Programs, Reliability & Data Engineering procedures and process manuals.

  • Initiate and coordinate actions to ensure compliance with mandated tasks specified by aviation authorities.

  • Ensure that troubleshooting activities are coordinated and performed to support the operation of the Cargolux fleet to support improved dispatch reliability and maintenance effectiveness.

  • Provide access to all technical publications through the Technical Library and company IT infrastructure.

  • Ensure that Technical Services team manages data entry and data quality in the MRO IT system in order to enable effective continuing airworthiness monitoring and optimized use of the data for Maintenance & Engineering processes.

  • Managing Maintenance Programs, Reliability & Data Engineering projects to improve safety and reliability of the Cargolux and Cargolux Italia fleet of aircraft.

  • Analyze team performance and implement corrective actions.

  • Provide performance insights and recommendations to management.

  • Manage daily team operations, staffing, and communication.

  • Promote continuous learning and team collaboration

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years in the aeronautical environment.
  • Extensive experience with MRO IT systems.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team-oriented and proactive.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, permanent position based in Sandweiler, Luxembourg.
  • Exempt Employee role with autonomy and decision-making responsibilities.
  • A certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciairePolizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required upon positive selection.
