The Lead Functional Analyst - HCC is part of the Information Management (IM) for Airbus Programmes, Customer Engagement & Services. He/she is responsible for the day to day management of the Hypervision Control Center team in a 24x7 environment. Candidate will have to work in different shifts including the night shift. Success of this position will require strong international collaboration with global Airbus teams.

The successful candidate will establish team goals by understanding the business strategy, identify and evaluate business & technical trends and choose a course of action to achieve the same. He/she will accomplish the team results/performance by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching and leading the team in the right direction.

The candidate will have to learn the architecture of applications in HCC monitoring scope and its functional in Airbus ecosystem and context to support Airbus businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute & Govern the process for communicating the planned & unplanned service-impacting events via various channels;

  • Effective collaboration with the Airbus internal business teams to execute and improve crisis management strategies during onboarding scoped applications

  • Monitor infrastructure / applications , propose improvements and update documentations accordingly

  • Support operational activities to secure Technical data production in time and Incident management at the level expected

  • Ownership of the support processes & their compliance with processes and procedures per security perimeters and established KPIs

  • Accountable for trend analysis of the events and incidents and report the synopsis of the efficiencies in event management.

  • Accountable for continuous service improvement function in collaboration with the service and application owners & create service improvement plans and track to closure.

  • Capture events through monitoring tools and processes; coordinate event response across all functional and technical towers for effective incident resolution.

  • Must be able to work within an agile organisation, think strategically and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Identify, manage and resolve complex risks and issues, preventing escalations wherever possible.

  • Leader and team player – sets an example for team leads, managers, and others to follow.

  • Follow and analyze IM Change board decisions to anticipate potential risks or problems.

Must have Skills:

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 8 years of total experience in Information Technology

  • Proven track record of setting up new Integrated Command Centers for providing services that cater to large solutions and help in achieving high availability of applications through comprehensive monitoring and triage thus improving the efficiency of the business applications.

  • Capacity to understand technical and operational Systems (Linux servers, Database, monitoring …) in order to operationally support the applications

  • Ability to train and develop a high performing team that should be able to own the scoped responsibilities.

  • Good Knowledge of ITIL management (incidents, changes, problem solving, root cause analysis …)

  • Manage escalation process in case of crisis situation

  • Experience in IT deliveries and services

  • Experience in run operations and service-level agreements (SLAs) management

  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.

  • Good communication and collaborative skills and a team-minded attitude

  • Capacity to understand and learn functional technical data dispatch applications

Good to have Skills:

  • Already experienced working in remote with colleagues based in EU is a plus

  • Experience in project management

  • Good knowledge or experiences in the following technologies

    • System : Linux redhat, Windows, Storages

    • Languages : Batch

    • Monitoring : Scenario based monitoring, Splunk, Grafana

    • Automation : Jenkins, Ansible

    • Control M batches

  • Capacity to translate complex technical issues into solutions and assess potential impacts

  • Experiences in root cause analysis
