As we expand our operations in Germany, we are excited to grow our Seat Integration Team, focusing on unique seat certification and integration for all Boeing aircraft models. In this role you will: 

  • Analyze, define, and generate documentation for the certification of aircraft seating products within EASA STC that allow for the post-delivery installation of new seating products, e.g. Wiring diagrams, routing installation and harness fabrication drawings, Test plans and reports, System Safety, Equipment Qualification, and EWIS documents. 

  • Review data from our suppliers for integration approval of seats into the airframe from electrical point of view, including the review of seat envelope drawings and equipment qualification data  

  • Work closely with our Boeing Commercial Airplanes teams and other stakeholders (e.g. Office of Airworthiness and other Authorities) to ensure the aircraft cabin is delivered in the correct condition and quality 

  • Be a technical focal for engineering and certification issues relating to integration of airplane seating post-production delivery

What you bring to the table: 

 

Basic qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Avionics, Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering or a comparable degree 

  • 7+ years' experience with part 21G POA, MRO process and all regulations, that interface with part 21J DOA, for the purpose of A/C modification 

  • Clearly demonstrable experience in working with DO-160, ABD100 or D6 documents 

 

 

Additionally preferred skills: 

 

  • Experience: You have extensive experience with EASA regulatory and applicable airworthiness requirements, e.g. (E)TSO, CS-25, JAR-25, and FAR-25 

  • Knowledge: You can demonstrate experience with aircraft interior modification programs especially on the electrical part of seat integration, with a high level of attention to detail  

  • Collaboration: You are experienced in working effectively with colleagues and customers and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff 

  • Tools: You can demonstrate expertise with navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards and have worked with our most important tools: Catia V5 / V6, AutoCAD, myboeingfleet.com 

  • Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct.
