We are looking for an Information Management Technology Specialist Junior – SysAdmin to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team, Bucharest.

The mission of the Information Management Technology Specialist Junior – SysAdmin is to install and manage the server and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) of Airbus Defence and Space Romania in line with all IM internal security regulations.

Responsibilities:

• The main focus of this role is to ensure daily operation and administration of VDI machines as well as servers (both physical and virtual).

• Responsible to ensure the availability, integrity, and efficient operation of the on-premises hosted environment information systems that support engineering business, as well as to setup, manage and tune them to ensure high level of security.

• Act as local point of contact primarily for the virtual desktop infrastructure and secondarily for the server infrastructure.

• Implement local business requirements in line with Airbus security rules and regulations.

• Develop policies, procedures and other documentation required to support the infrastructure environment.

• Build and develop effective cross-functional team working.

• Based on business needs, travel within and outside the country may be required.

Requirements:

Specific knowledge and skills:

• University studies, ideally in a technical domain.

• Experience with managing Windows clients, Windows Server and Active Directory.

• Experience with Omnissa (formerly VMware) Horizon, VMware ESXi administration, provisioning, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.

• Experience with networks management and Linux systems administration would be a plus.

• +5 years proven experience working within a customer-oriented environment.

• Well organized person with the ability to stay focused on different tasks and use time, energy, strength effectively and efficiently in order to achieve the desired outcome.

• Strong customer orientation, focused on IT Service Delivery.

• Nice to have: ITIL awareness, Veeam Backup knowledge, VMware or CCNA certification
