Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Head of Finance and Corporate Support Thailand is accountable for driving robust financial performance, ensuring compliance, and leading enabling functions including Accounting, Tax, Procurement, IT, Facility and Administration. As a key member of the leadership team, the role will act as a business partner, strategic advisor, and guardian of internal controls. The position supports operational excellence while embodying Airbus leadership values and contributing to the company’s transformation journey.
Responsibilities
1. Business Acumen & Strategic Contribution
Lead financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and cost management.
Partner with the MD and other global/regional stakeholders to provide insights that support strategic decisions and business growth.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reports in line with Thai GAAP, IFRS, and Airbus Group standards.
Drive performance improvement initiatives, resource allocation, and scenario planning. Implementation of efficient and lean Airbus financial processes and policies in Thailand Alignment & harmonization of standards, processes and (if possible) financial systems across the entities in Thailand
Continually automate, streamline and improve current reporting, operational and accounting processes to improve business efficiency in Thailand
Oversee the financial operations of the entities in Thailand
Reviewing of payments and act as an authorised approver for payments
Ensure accuracy on billing and proper revenue recognition based on the local gap
In charge of SLA & CRA Management
Develop finance as a business partner in Thailand, playing a proactive role to respective business units
Act in monitoring results, deviations to targets, in helping business units in Thailand to improve their results with financial guidance.
Prepare and consolidate AOP, Executive Highlights and KPI reports for entities in Thailand and Board of Directors
Monitor KPIs, understanding trends and mitigating any causes of unexpected variances
Working closely with respective Business Controllers back in Europe for reporting as well as exchanging information in terms of recent business activities
Reviewing Management Report and prepare Group Reporting in Thailand
Liaising with Bankers, Auditors (Internal & External) and Tax agents
Involvement with any new Tools or Systems implementation
Supports Airbus Finance Improvement and Airbus Performance Improvement initiatives
2. Compliance, Transformation, and Internal Controls
Ensure full regulatory compliance and alignment with Airbus internal policies and ethics standards.
Lead the Internal Control Self-Assessment (ICSA) process and continuously strengthen the internal control environment.
Liaise with auditors and ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Promote digital tools and transformation across finance and corporate support to improve efficiency.
3. Leadership & People Development
Foster a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Promote collaboration across functions and instill Airbus values in daily operations.
Support cross-functional knowledge sharing and career development aligned with Airbus Talent and Leadership Frameworks.
4. Corporate Support Functions
Oversee Procurement, IT, Administration, and Facility Management functions, ensuring high-quality services and cost-efficiency.
Enhance vendor governance, facility operations, and IT system performance in coordination with regional/corporate teams.
Align corporate services with evolving business needs, security, and environmental standards.
5. Regional Role:
Vietnam – A Business Controller Representative, Oversee the financial operating issues, Reviewing Management Report and approving payments, Preparation of OP/FC and in charge of SLA Management Singapore – Finance Advisory Role to the Airbus entities in Singapore relating to any financial operating issues, Shared Service operations, compliance issue, audit and tax matters
Responsible to lead or participant in any relevant regional integration projects (cross-country and cross-division
6. Other Assignment
