Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an electrical system engineer (f/m) to join our Customer Care Center in Airbus based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team supporting airlines on electrical generation and distribution systems. As part of the ATA24 Team, you will be involved in ATA24 system reliability and safety handling, aiming at keeping the highest Operational Reliability on AIRBUS products, and setting recovery actions in case of need.

Your working environment:

Ideally located between the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean and close to the Pyrenees mountains, it offers plenty of options for outdoor activities!

Your challenges:

  • Daily answering engineering queries from customers on electrical generation and distribution systems on all commercial Airbus programs

  • Capitalize on technical concerns in order to identify any reliability drops

  • Acting as the voice of the customer within AIRBUS and also among our Suppliers to demonstrate that a solution must be provided to customers

  • Handling customers communications reflecting fleet issues resolution progress

  • Represent AIRBUS in face-to-face customers meetings to address on-coming solutions

  • Manage AOG (Aircraft On Ground) on daily basis and/or on stand-by duty


Your boarding pass:

  • Aeronautic engineering degree

  • Experience and knowledge on aircraft systems (5 years minimum)

  • Experience and knowledge on aircraft electrical systems would be a plus

  • Negotiation level in English (both oral and written)

  • Good presentation skills (both oral and written)

  • Good relationship with her/his team and all of its stakeholders

  • Knowledge about airlines operations to better understand their needs

  • Availability working on staggered hours 4 weeks a year and for business trips (1 to 4 a year)
