The Employee Care Coordinator (ECC) supports the Employee Care team in ensuring PASS employees receive timely, consistent, and supportive service aligned with company values and organizational objectives. Reporting to the Manager People & Culture, this role serves as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers while providing essential administrative and coordination support to the broader Employee Care function. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Respond to general enquiries from employees and managers related to company policies, and HR procedures while fostering a positive, open line of communication. 
  • Track and coordinate accommodation requests, including disability-related and return-to-work programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
  • Collaborate closely with departments such as Training, Operations, Scheduling, CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority), Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), and Union Locals to assess employee needs.
  • Create appropriate accommodation documentation based on individual needs and job requirements? 
  • Track and Monitor Modified Work Agreements ? 
  • Provides support in the facilitation of return to work (RTW) programs? 
  • Administer the CARE Award program and support other employee recognition activities as need. 
  • Facilitate the PASS Prairies Manager onboarding Training for People & Culture
  • Provide training and presentations to Paladin’s dedicated Management Team and other stakeholders identified by CATSA, including but not limited to:   
    • Increasing awareness of DEI initiatives 
    • Cross-Cultural Training Celebrate diversity with support from Paladin’s Corporate Marketing and Communications Departments to recognize national days for specific minority groups 
  •  Assist with special projects as required. 

Qualifications 

  • Diploma or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree an asset) 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Human Resources administration, or coordination role (experience in a unionized or aviation/security setting is an asset) 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset 
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality 
  • Organized, pro-active, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing needs 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) 
  • Able to obtain a Transportation Security Clearance (TSC) and meet federal security requirements 
  • Canadian Citizen or PR with no un-pardoned criminal convictions
