As we embark on a digital transformation journey, we are seeking a talented and proactive Electrical System Digital Transformation Intern to join our team for a 12-month placement, starting in July. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in digitisation and electrical engineering.
As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our engineering team with the implementation of advanced digital solutions to enhance our electrical systems. This role is designed to provide you with real-world experience, enabling you to contribute to meaningful projects that will positively impact our company's operations. Throughout this journey, you will have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
What you will be doing:
As an Electrical System Digital Transformation Intern, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our engineering team with the implementation of advanced digital solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
Requirements:
Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
Studying towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
Understanding of electrical systems, principles, and components;
Basic knowledge of digital technologies, IoT, and data analysis;
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java) is a plus;
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective communication and teamwork abilities;
Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to take initiative.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
