As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building, deploying, and maintaining resilient platforms, with a focus on security, observability, and automation. You will be embedded in a high-stakes environment where precision, reliability, and compliance are paramount.
π Responsibilities

Design and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes in secure environments.

Implement and maintain Istio Service Mesh for traffic control, security policies, and observability.
- Configure secure networking protocols and components at both fundamental and advanced levels.

Develop and enforce PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) standards across systems.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible, ensuring repeatability and scalability.

Deploy and monitor system metrics using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.

Integrate Cilium for enhanced Kubernetes security, network visibility, and observability.
- Maintain robust Linux-based environments and contribute to system hardening practices.
- Manage virtualized and storage environments with high availability and redundancy.
- Contribute to the CI/CD lifecycle with security-focused practices and compliance.

Requirements
π‘οΈ Security & Clearance

Must be a national of a NATO member country and eligible for NATO SECRET clearance.
- Understanding of secure development environments and data classification protocols is an asset.
π Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or System Administration roles.
- Proven experience with:

Networking (basic and advanced), PKI
- Linux administration

Infrastructure as Code using Ansible

Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki

Container security and networking with Cilium

Storage and virtualization technologies (e.g., Ceph, VMware, or KVM)
