Job Description:
Airbus SAS is looking for a Senior Corporate Auditor (F/M) to join our Export Control Audit team in our site of Blagnace, France.

As we continue to navigate a dynamic global risk landscape, we established a dedicated team for the area of Export Control Compliance conducting audits and including as well a Centre of Competence (CoC) for the full Corporate Audit team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a functional, transnational team, contributing directly to the integrity and effectiveness of our operations worldwide.
As a Corporate Auditor, you will leverage your deep expertise to conduct a variety of audits across all Airbus businesses, subsidiaries, and affiliates in Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence & Space and in selected company-wide functions. Your focus will be on Export Control risks, i.e. assessing the related organisational setup, governance frameworks, design and effectiveness of established processes and controls to achieve compliance. The audit mission team typically consists of an expert in export control compliance and a senior corporate auditor.
This role is for a senior professional who can build trusted relationships and confidently engage with management at all levels, applying internal audit methodologies, business acumen, and professional judgment. You are able to think out of the box, understand conflicting priorities, the concepts of risk ownership and risk appetite. You quickly understand risks and business specifics in complex environments. You will provide objective, risk-based reviews that provide assurance to the business and drive meaningful corrective actions.
Deliver Insights: Conduct structured, evidence-based assessments of interdependent setup and governance. Your detailed analysis and clear, concise reporting will directly inform and guide senior management decisions;
Risk & Scope: Contribute significantly to defining audit scope and objectives with the Head of Export Control Audits. Provide expert input and constructive challenge during the identification of key business risks, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of practical business challenges;
Facilitate Resolution: Engage in constructive dialogue for alignment and validation. Drive feedback sessions with operational management to present your findings, secure acceptance for proposed actions, and follow up on their timely implementation;
Champion Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to enhancing Corporate Audit’s own initiatives;
Collaborate & Integrate: Participate in combined audits, fostering effective collaboration with colleagues across various divisional groups in the Corporate Audit function.
Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit is essential, gained either in a corporate environment or within leading consulting/advisory firms.
Experience in external audit (e.g., within audit firms) is an advantage.
Experience related to Trade Compliance, particularly with the U.S. Export Controls (ITAR, EAR) is valued.
Familiarity with EU Export Control regulations is also appreciated.
Relevant professional qualifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) are a strong plus.
Skills & Capabilities:
Exceptional Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Ability to professionally and effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders across all organisational levels, both verbally and in writing (English proficiency is a must). Fluency in French, Spanish, and/or German is a definite asset.
Strong Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex situations, synthesize information, and draw insightful conclusions.

Rapid Onboarding and Application: capacity to quickly understand regulatory frameworks, with a specific focus on gaining knowledge in applicable domestic and international trade law including export control compliance.
This roles implies regular business trips, you should then be able to travel accordingly.
