Summary

For the area "compute / storage / backup / data base management" we are looking for a "Cloud Engineer (m/m/d)" at the Ulm location at the next possible time.

The Infrastructure and Cloud Services division is responsible for the design, deployment and operation of the server and network infrastructure as well as for enterprise-wide communication, at different locations and in the cloud. The Infrastructure division also designs and operates autonomous IT environments within the HENSOLDT Group for specific projects, some of which are classified as confidential.

HENSOLDT IM (information Management) is the global IT of the HENSOLDT Group. Through scalable and flexible architectures as well as with business-oriented IT solutions, we enable the growth targets of the HENSOLDT Group. We provide innovative digital solutions for the product portfolio and for the processes of HENSOLDT.

Your Tasks

• Development of stable and future-proof cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Architecture design, setup and further development of a multi-hybrid cloud

• Participation and coordination in the migration of existing applications to a cloud environment

• Automatic provisioning of cloud services and infrastructure as code provisioning tools (IaaC)

• Monitoring of the cloud infrastructure and cost development, diagnosis of performance bottlenecks and development of optimization proposals

Your Profile

• Completed studies (business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering), education in computer science or comparable qualification with professional experience

• Several years of experience in the cloud environment and automation using the example of Terraform, Cloudformation and Ansible

• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Docker, Kuberteres, CI/CD pipelines, Monitoring, Network and Security

• Independent, service- and solution-oriented working methods as well as pronounced analytical and conceptual skills Communication and team skills

• Fluent German and good English skills
