About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Certification Project Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. Working within a leading aerospace organisation, you will support product certification and compliance activities, ensuring documentation and processes align with industry standards and customer requirements.

This role is ideal for a contractor with a strong background in aerospace compliance, documentation, and quality systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

Compile and manage certification documentation in accordance with aerospace regulatory and quality standards e.g. AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements.

Generate technical reports to support customer compliance and certification packages.

Support internal and external design reviews, providing input from a certification and compliance perspective.

Conduct and contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

Liaise with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth delivery of compliant solutions.

 

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a certification, compliance, or quality engineering role within aerospace or a similarly regulated industry.

Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.

Excellent documentation and technical reporting skills.

Comfortable interpreting and reviewing technical drawings and engineering data.

Experience with design reviews and root cause analysis methodologies.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) is highly desirable.
