We are looking for a Cabin Stress Analysis Engineer (d/f/m) for our international team in Customer Services / retrofit solutions, based in Hamburg.
Working closely together with international suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive the qualification and certification process, you will ensure the safe operation of our aircrafts with respect to structural integrity and operational effectiveness.
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
Analyze, evaluate and validate stress related data for Airbus cabin equipment
Define, interpret and validate cabin supplier tests and set-ups, also you perform checks and approval of supplier stress documents
Your are in charge of stress summaries for cabin upgrades
Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions including stress approval of drawings related to the cabin conversion.
Adherence to airworthiness regulations of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regarding relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing guidelines
Support the integration and provide stress analysis and approval to solutions on discrepancies appeared during embodiment of cabin at Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) on short notice
Develop towards obtaining a Stress Approval Delegation
Several years of experience structural analysis and fatigue assessment in the aerospace industry with experience in stress analysis and hand calculations
Knowledge in Finite Element Analysis
Experience in aircraft cabin stress calculations would be advantage, as well as experience in seat or monument testing and analysis
Team player with a collaborative mindset to work with internal and external stakeholders
Educated Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Technology
English: Negotiation level, German: Advanced
