To support our growth in Emmen, Switzerland, we are looking for an Avionics Technician Helicopter (M/F) to act as the main point of contact for all avionics integration, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks on customer helicopter, while maintaining and improving technical processes and documentation.

                                                                       

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on avionics systems including navigation, communication, flight management, and instrumentation.
  • Carry out periodic inspections, functional tests, and troubleshooting of electronic circuits and components.
  • Implement system upgrades, modifications, and retrofits in accordance with service bulletins, engineering documentation, and OEM specifications.
  • Ensure accurate technical documentation and recordkeeping following EASA Part-145 / Part-66 regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with engineers, mechanics, and quality assurance personnel to maintain coordination and technical consistency.

Qualifications

  • Completed technical education in electrical engineering, avionics, or aeronautical mechanics, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Valid EASA Part-66 B2 License, ideally with a Type Rating on AS332 L1 (or equivalent).
  • Proven professional experience as an Avionics Technician, preferably on rotary-wing aircraft such as the Super Puma.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic tools, testing procedures, and avionics schematics.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and maintenance manuals.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills are highly desirable
