Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Airline Sales Manager to lead regional and global sales initiatives, expand market presence, and build strong relationships with travel partners, corporate clients, and agencies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the airline industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales strategy and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets across assigned regions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, tour operators, and GDS partners.

  • Identify new market opportunities, develop pricing strategies, and recommend route-level initiatives to maximize profitability.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

  • Negotiate commercial agreements, incentive programs, and corporate travel contracts.

  • Represent the airline at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions.

  • Monitor sales performance, generate reports, and present KPIs to senior management.

  • Work closely with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to align strategies and enhance brand visibility.

  • Train and support local sales teams or sales agents in achieving sales goals.

  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and service standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or related field.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in airline or travel industry sales, preferably in a managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of airline products, fare structures, distribution channels, and GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).

  • Proven ability to develop strategic relationships and negotiate large commercial deals.

  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B airline sales or corporate account management.

  • Familiarity with loyalty programs and interline/alliances sales.

  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
