Job Description:

You have recently graduated in the field of acoustics and / or vibrations and you are motivated to play a role in technical challenges related to aircraft noise? It’s time to join the Airbus Aircraft Noise team!

Within Airbus Commercial in the Toulouse area, you will join the Acoustic  team who is looking for an Acoustic Engineer (m/f) willing to join the adventure of designing low noise aircraft, in a passionate, empowered  and dynamic team ! 

In order to boost your learning curve during your on-boarding, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary training program around aircraft noise engineering. You will explore different skills, by switching from one team to another, during your first 18 months.

You will work on Airbus programs or R&T, in close collaboration with other design office disciplines such as aircraft performance, aerodynamics, future projects, flight tests, and in connection with major Airbus partners such as engine manufacturers, European Research Centers and Universities .

Your task & accountabilities :

  • Define and deliver noise sources and  aircraft noise studies

  • Contribute to aero-acoustic multi-disciplinary design-to noise process

  • Specify, contribute to and analyze acoustic tests 

  • Interface with others CoC and external partners, including suppliers, in your technical perimeter

Your boarding pass :

  • Technical skills:

  • Master or engineering degree in acoustics

  • Knowledge in technical fields such as engine performance and aircraft performance, would be a plus

  • Basic knowledge in scientific programming language such as Pyton

  • Negotiation level in English

  • Soft skills:

    • Adaptable and proactive, you appreciate collaborative work and have team spirit and good communication skills.

    • Curious and organized, you have an appetite to understand physics and continuously learn.
