Join our strategically vital and quickly expanding subsidiary in Santo Tirso, Porto region, Portugal. Specializing in aerostructure sub-assemblies, this entity is an integral part of Airbus Atlantic’s industrial system, serving our main French plants. With approximately 400 employees, our site is in a phase of significant growth, making this a pivotal role for an HR leader passionate about building and scaling.
Reporting hierarchically to the HR Director for international entities of Airbus Atlantic and functionally to the subsidiary’s General Manager, and a key member of the subsidiary's Management Committee, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing a healthy social climate, driving HR maturity in a young and developing plant, and leading the HR policy on site in alignment with group directives. You will be supported by a dedicated HR team of approximately 7 people.

Leading the deployment and adherence to our ethics and compliance processes, setting the standard for integrity.
You and your team will be accountable for:
Recruitment & Talent Development
Collaborating with managers and finance on resource planning, including all recruitment activities.
Providing expert guidance to leaders and employees, prioritizing and directing talent acquisition, engagement, retention, and development strategies.
Guiding the leadership team through talent assessment, workforce and succession planning, risk evaluation, and development plans.
Designing and implementing a comprehensive employee development program, integrating rewards and recognition to foster a high-performance culture.
Developing, deploying, and managing organizational competency frameworks and the talent planning process for key roles.
Creating and maintaining the employee performance evaluation process, ensuring its effective implementation and supporting management in coaching deployment and follow-up.
Defining, implementing, and overseeing on-site training and learning programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Labour Relations
Ensuring active social dialogue and maintaining a positive social climate within the company.
Anticipating social developments and adapting strategies accordingly.
Managing relationships with administrative authorities and overseeing dispute resolution.
HR Administration & Processes
Deploying and ensuring strict compliance with all HR processes.
Managing employee health and well-being programs.
Maintaining HRIS data accuracy, ensuring data quality and confidentiality, and payroll compliance.
Establishing and maintaining a competitive total compensation program (base salary, variable pay, benefits, pension, etc.) aligned with company objectives, budget, and local market conditions.
Developing and managing end-to-end processes for the employee lifecycle (from onboarding to retirement), including overseeing all welcome activities and managing exit surveys.
Health and Safety
Promoting established health and safety practices and standards, ensuring full organizational compliance.
Identifying and controlling risks to which workers are exposed in accordance with regulations.
Ensuring the rigorous implementation of the Health and Safety policy.

Education & Experience
A higher education degree in Human Resources Management.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a generalist HR function with a strong business and operational focus, specifically within an industrial environment.
Significant international experience, ideally within a Franco-Portuguese context, is highly valued.
Proven expertise in local social relations is essential.
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading HR teams.
Skills & Personal Qualities
A recognized leader with a hands-on approach and a strong affinity for the industrial environment.
Possessing both operational capabilities and strategic vision.
Proficient in daily HR tasks and well-versed in local labor legislation.
Adept at advising and influencing hierarchical managers across all HR domains.
Excellent ability to manage priorities and to communicate with high professionalism at all organizational levels and with the headquarters in France, particularly in an intercultural context.
Reactive, resilient, and rigorous, you thrive in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment. You are a proactive problem-solver and capable of working autonomously while valuing teamwork and collaboration.
You demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and serve as a reference in matters of ethics & compliance.
Strong data management skills and proficiency with Google environments and HRIS (database management, etc.) are required.
Native Portuguese speaker, proficient in English, and ideally fluent in French due to strong links with our French headquarters.
