Aerospace Account Manager - Maternity Cover

Role Outline

Farnborough International is looking to support its Aerospace Sales Team by as part of a maternity leave cover and to recruit an Aerospace Account Manager to work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team to deliver sales targets and account manage a portfolio of customers for Farnborough International Airshow.

The role involves prospecting and winning new business, key account management as well as achieving up selling opportunities. You will be working at all times with the CRM system and online exhibitor portal delivering the highest levels of client handling and management. 

This role is a 10 month contract for mat leave cover from October 2025 – July 2026.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience delivering sales targets
• Account management or customer service experience
• Excellent telephone manner and strong sales skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with aerospace industry people at all levels
• Efficiency working with CRM software (training will be provided)
• Strong customer focus skills
• Good presentation and administration skills
• Ability to work in a team and think out of the box
• Ability to work under pressure

Working knowledge of the following

• Microsoft Word for Windows and word processing software
• Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software
• Microsoft PowerPoint package
