Job title of the line manager: Regional Programs Purchasing Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: To purchase the items on the Program BOM until series production startup.

Scope of Activities

To carry out some or all of the following activities:

• Take responsibility for achieving the following mission targets (for development and series production programs):
  • Satisfy the needs of programs : achieve cost targets (RC and NRC), meet development milestones (FAI, Ramp-up, etc.) and provide project risk management

• Manage sourcing, outsourcing and resourcing in collaboration with strategic commodity leaders, address program-specific requirements and take make-or-buy decisions
• Consolidate procurement financial data and analyze budget variances
• Manage activities (from selection through to series production via achievement of the planned deliverables)
  • Contractualization via PTC
  • Coordination with the ASQ (quality deliverables)
  • With the support of upstream methods experts, where necessary
• Prepare the details required to answer specific questions from customers (security of sources, risk control and processes)
• Attend program meetings, and prepare/issue SeeD Launch milestones
• Propose and implement appropriate action plans within your scope of responsibility
• Assist the New Business Acquisition Buyer in responding to contract bid invitations.
• Coordinate procurement cost production initiatives in the follow-up and optimization phase

The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training
