The JCDecaux Airport division has a Commercial team of highly motivated and knowledgeable salespeople, supported by fantastic colleagues ensuring the development and delivery of market-leading advertising opportunities. The Agency Airport team is focused on maintaining and evolving effective relationships with our Agency clients. You will be responsible for supporting the team in all aspects of sales activity to help build professional and positive relationships with our clients
What you'll be doing...
- Support the team in booking campaigns onto the system, pulling together all the contract headers for all bookings and booking professional photography.
- Weekly upkeep of Renewals Tracker.
- Administration of Temporary Airport Passes and conducting site inspection tours.
- Helping to produce presentations (PowerPoint) and provide after sales care, with excellent attention to detail and ensuring that all documents that leave the building are on the JCDecaux airport template.
- Ensure CRM is used daily to manage appointments and communications and develop strong working knowledge to use and maintain any tailored company database systems.
- Take charge of corporate entertainment plans and work within strict time limits to option advertising space.
- Work closely with others to ensure smooth running of campaigns.
- Meet regularly with the trading team account planner to exchange information and any recent insight or learnings.
- Work with the trading planner on the renewal of the portfolio book.
- Build a knowledge of JCDecaux products and services and their benefits.
- Upskill your knowledge and skills using the JCDecaux “GROW” portal.
- Generate reports to support the sales team on a number of systems on which initial training will be provided: ID Gateway – Heathrow and Edinburgh Airport site , AAM – providing impression forecasts and post campaign reports, Forwardkeys – running destination reports and utilising all the available functions to support the sales team, Merlin – tracking down past bookings and mining requested information, CRM – including sales pipeline, Asset Bank – photography database, ALF Insight – sales tool, Power bi, VIOOH – Checking avails for the team and optioning sites on request, SOURCE – company resource database, YouGov – a database of surveys which we can use to pull JCDecaux Airport passenger information around purchasing habits and attitudes.
- Produce a competitive report for the sales team, of advertising you have recorded in national press and magazines, which we will ask you purchase (with company funds).
- Each month update the sales team with industry events (networking events, conferences and exhibitions) taking place in the UK that could help drive JCDecaux airport sales.
- When regular tasks are in-hand, develop marketing initiatives that will promote JCDecaux Airport sales teams and products.

- A self-starter able to prioritise to achieve goals and maintain client expectations.
- The ability to use your initiative and a confident approach to decision making.
- Strong numeracy skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft packages with intermediate ability in Excel.
- Previous experience using CRM systems to input data and produce reports would be an advantage.
- Track record of performing as a key contributor within successful teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Has a natural aptitude to learn digital products
