Position; Full Time (temp) PARD Dispatch
Site: Toronto Pearson Airport
City: Mississauga, ON
Hours: Continental Nights (1900 - 0700)
Pay Rate: $19.30/hr.

Job Description:  The Commercial Vehicle Administrator Assistant shall comply with the following or perform the activities below:

• Register new companies & drivers;
• Review & approve driver self-registration requests;
• Create bookings and generate permits;
• Suspend and deactivate account if necessary;
• Accept payments for loading stored values;
• Issue refunds and process vouchers;
• Provides support regarding all bookings for both Terminals;
• Co-ordinate dispatch of vehicles from the holding area to the Terminal curbs;
• Dispatching vehicles through the CVTA System;
• Accurate and timely completion of pre-arranged audit when CVTA system malfunctions;
• Ensure matching of passenger to appropriate vehicle;
• Respond to passenger, company & driver inquiries and assist where needed;
• Complete bank deposit and reconciliation of funds;
• In case of CVTA failure, use spreadsheet for vehicles that are already booked and dispatch over PA system;
• Operate system in a degrade mode by calling vehicles over PA system;
• Operate in a manual mode;
• Maintain record for passengers at Pre-arranged curbs with no cars booked for them;
• Assist drivers with automated system;
• Respond immediately to all requests or operational changes as directed by the Groundside Operations Employees;
• • Report any unusual activity in the Pre-arranged Compound; and
  • All other related duties as required.

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Comfortable using office equipment (printers, copiers, scanners)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Authorized to legally work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED
