Accomplish work on aircraft, aircraft systems and accessories in accordance with relevant a/c technical manual and instructions
Able to organize and lead a team of mechanics, plan the workload and manage the manpower roster
Able to run line-stations in accordance with set company procedures
Ensure the work is carried-out following a/c manufacturing procedures and maintenance practices
Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME)
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Secondary Technical Education or Accomplished Apprenticeship with focus on a/c Mechanics
Be a holder of EASA AML B1
Experience on B747-400 and B747-8, minimum 5-7 years
Be open-minded, comfortable with a diverse group of people and cultures
Be fluent in English, other languages are considered an advantage
Be able to work independently and be a good team leader
Have good standard knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Driver's License necessary
Working Conditions:
Position will be based out of Luxembourg, covering stations on detachment contract mainly in GYD and ASB
The detachment contract will be for a minimum period of 3 years based in GYD
Flexibility for long stays on outstations is essential
