Technician Machine & Accessory

Task Responsibilities:

Repair / overhaul / modification of aircraft components and tooling.

• Machine replacement parts and tooling using conventional and CNC milling machines and lathes
• Install oversize bearings / bushings, accomplish heat treatment and hardness tests
• Design and create tools and fixtures to accomplish and facilitate repairs
• Co-ordinate jobs and task with other team members
• Operate shop tooling/equipment according to his/her approval and training received on same.
• Provide verbal/written hand over to team members and superiors

Essential Requirements For The Position:

• Minimum: CATP/ DAP or equivalent
• Minimum five years' experience in a Machine Shop 
• Good understanding of drawings and manuals
• Mature attitude, ability to work independently
• Not afraid to work at height, willing to work two shifts
• Good computer knowledge: MS Office, TRAX
• English written and spoken

Working Conditions:

• full time position, based in Luxembourg
• shift work as per the shop working schedule 
• regular and full-time presence required, vacations and other absences to be planned respecting shop needs
• occasionally may be asked to work outside his normal working schedule
• occasional travel may be required and remunerated in accordance with collective work agreement
