Technical Writer (Contract Position)

Job Summary:

• Maintain and manage technical documents throughout the entire life cycle of a EagleNXT’s drones, sensors, and cameras, taking into account legal requirements and standards
• Supporting and coordinating global editorial projects will also be an area of responsibility
• Create and adapt technical specifications and customer-specific documentation to different requirements
• Ensure technical clarifications together with our worldwide customers and representatives
• Develop structured, uniform and user-friendly documentation templates
• Content will be published on time and in the required form

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Create operating manuals and technical documentation for high technology drone, sensor, and camera products to ensure clear and understandable use
• Procurement and creation of media to support the documentation
• Create user catalogs that detail the products and their features
• Translate technical documentation to make the information accessible to international customers
• Optimize documentation processes and contribute to improving quality processes
• Be available as a contact person for questions and concerns about technical documentation
• Translate technical documentation in both French and English to make the information accessible to international customers

Position Qualifications:

• University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in a technical field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant technical writing and editing experience in a high-technology field
• Strong MS Office skills
• Business fluency in French and strong written and spoken English skills
• Experience using documentation software such as Schema ST4, Document360, Adobe Framemaker, etc.
