Systems Administrator

We�re looking for a versatile IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Farnborough-based team. You�ll be the hands-on expert responsible for ensuring the stability, security and performance of our network, servers and cloud services. From cabling and hardware setup to cloud and identity management, you�ll play a critical role in maintaining and evolving the systems that power our international operations.

Your Mission:

• Build, maintain, and support core IT infrastructure across servers, networking, and datacentres.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, and hybrid identity environments.
• Manage comms rooms � from cabling, patching, and racking to environmental oversight.
• Implement and maintain MDM solutions (Intune essential, Jamf desirable) for secure device management.
• Monitor system performance, backups, and security baselines to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to document, improve, and evolve infrastructure processes.

Must-haves:

• 4+ years� experience in IT Infrastructure or Systems Administration roles.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Cloud/Hybrid/OnPrem domains, printer Servers.
• Strong networking knowledge (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing, Wi-Fi) - Palo Alto / Meraki preferred.
• Practical experience with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V).
• Demonstrated ability to manage MDM environments, especially Intune.
• A strong information security mindset, with working knowledge of core security principles and practical application across systems, identity, and network layers.
• Experience monitoring and supporting critical 24�7 operations, ensuring uptime and rapid incident response.
• Working knowledge of Meeting Rooms, AV systems, and connectivity support for conferencing solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, or Microsoft Endpoint/Azure Administrator.
• Experience using Microsoft�s security suite � Defender, Purview, and eDiscovery.
• Experience with datacentre operations and structured cabling.
• Familiarity with backup, monitoring, and automation tools (Veeam, Datadog, PowerShell).
• Experience delivering security solutions including CCTV, access control.
• Prior experience in aviation, hospitality, or other high-availability operational environments.
