SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Manage the daily operational activities on the ramp and adjacent Aprons ensuring safe, efficient on-time, customer-focused arrivals and departures.
•    Work closely with the FBO team and crews ensuring that customer service needs are met while promoting two-way communications; 
•    Support the management of the customer interface; Resolve concerns from staff, crew, and/or customers issues within level of delegated authority.
•    Ensure adherence to World Fuel Services standards related to the safe operation and maintenance of Fuel Trucks and Fuel Farm (if applicable). Responsible for all Fuel ordering and inventory.
•    Ensure crew is prepared and fully trained for Winter Operations -- if support is required, identify support-needs immediately (prior to season start).
•    Develop a full understanding of the Maintenance department’s general operations in the interest of maintaining effective relationships.
FACILITIES
•    Work closely with Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and Facilities teams across Canada to ensure that teams have the necessary tools and equipment of the trade to perform their roles.
•    Ensure compliance with Security including controlling the access systems and issuance of any access keys, automatic and primary security control doors.
•    Support Facilities in ensuring that evacuation plans are up to date and tested and that fire inspections are accomplished.
•    Support Facilities Team as necessary in creating monthly work schedules to address the oversight of vendors and contractors engaged in facility projects.
REVENUE
•    Secure new and existing office and hangar tenants driving to achieve/maintain full occupancy,
•    Manage lease administration and ongoing relationship management.
•    Responsible for business development of ad hoc heavy aircraft customers including preparing quotes, ensuring the preparedness and excellent execution of the arrival/departure of these flights.
•    Participate in the preparation of FBO Lineservice budgets and financial forecasts, including Capex, based on a comprehensive understanding of the financial drivers of the business.
SAFETY
•    Foster a safe work environment culture of safety by ensuring the effective implementation of all safety standards and programs as well as compliance.
•    Support continuous improvement of the operation by identifying opportunities to improve SOPs to ensure optimal safety and profitability.
•    Support Manager in the investigation of all occurrence reports including notifying the applicable authorities (fuel spills, security infractions, etc.).
•    Ensure that Ramp Safety Rules, SOPs, manuals and best practices are observed. 
TRAINING
•    Contribute to the development of effective FBO training materials by collaborating with peers including the SMS and training leads in Canada.
•    Lead instructional and on-the-ground and hands-on-training as required; Work with Manager to ensure accurate Training Records. 
•    Administer FBO-employee onboarding, ensuring that new hires have required security and training resources (i.e., RAIC, DA Licensing and other requirements.)
•    Ensure that Lineservice complete all OJT training requirements. Manager/Supervisor/Crew Chief must "sign-off" on Lineservice Trainee as ready-for-service.
TALENT MANAGEMENT
•    Support talent management processes as require
•     Evaluate employee performance pre and post training and following SMS incidents.
•    Supervise and provide direction, training, supervision, performance management and support to a team including Lineservice, Crew Chiefs, Trainer, Supervisors and Quality Assurance Coordinator.
•    Report on the performance standards of FBO personnel to the Manager; work with Manager to identify performance issues and retraining/mitigation. 
•    Regularly monitors Lineservice team members to ensure they meet/exceed requirements. 
•    Support Manager with payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, vacation requests and overtime for employees.
•    Work as Lineservice Attendant or Crew Chief as required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
To be considered for this position an individual must have 5 – 7 years’ experience on Lineservice as a Crew Chief/Supervisor at a FBO or on a Commercial Ramp. 
Other qualities include but are not limited to:  
•    Embodies professionalism, discretion and exhibits tact during communications/situations.
•    Superior customer service and interpersonal / relationship skills. 
•    Strong supervisory skills including ability to motivate, train, and retain. 
•    Positive and collaborative attitude.   
•    Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. 
•    High safety orientation as well as experience with SMS / safety management processes.
•    Strong computer skills and understanding/knowledge of software related to the function.  
•    Flexible to work hours, including evenings and weekends, and be on call as required to meet the needs of the operation.
•    Track record as someone who works well under pressure. 
•    Post-secondary education considered an asset.  
•    Fluent in French and English.
