Job Description

Your mission during this flight:

  • Establish and maintain the certification basis for the aircraft structures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. 
  • Deep understanding of composite structures certification strategies
  • Review airframe designs, drawings, and reports to identify potential issues or deficiencies related to certification requirements. 
  • Support structural testing for airframe structures and components, including static, dynamic, and fatigue test. Design and prepare test jigs.
  • Manages Certification Campaign. Reviews certification strategy and decides how and where to test. Managing external test laboratories. Test development with external test laboratories and internal test engineers.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation to support certification, including compliance reports, test plans, and specifications. 
  • Work with various teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and flight test personnel, as well as external stakeholders like regulatory agencies. 
  • Investigate and resolve any identified issues or non-compliances related to certification. 
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement of the certification process. 

 

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills: 

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar field
  • Minimum of 5 years in an Airframe certification in the aerospace professional environment including composite material experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.  
  • Very good knowledge of aerospace requirements and standards like CS-23, CS-27, SC-VTOL
  • Knowledge of PLM
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex technical data and identify potential issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English language
