Task Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be expected to take on the following responsibilities:

    Data Governance:

    • Support the development and implementation of data governance programs, including frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures 
    • Identify and help remediate risks affecting data governance
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to enforce data policies, procedures, and standards across various domains

    Data Governance compliance:

    • Help track regulatory requirements applicable to data governance activities to ensure their compliance
    • Assist in monitoring the implementation of the data governance strategy and different policies and procedures
    • Support audits and monitoring campaigns to verify data accuracy and compliance
    • Assist in supporting data management projects (e.g., data quality management, data warehousing etc.)

    Issue and Exception Management:

    • Assist in reviewing and validating resolutions for issues and exceptions 
    • Monitor issues and exception management processes

    Communication and awareness:

    • Engage with clear and effective communication with data stakeholders
    • Promote data governance and strategy across the organization
    • Assist in developing data governance awareness campaigns and trainings
    • Work effectively with others and proactively support and guide colleagues
    • Communicate clearly & openly
    • Interact respectfully, understands and seeks to integrate diverse viewpoints
    • Possess a strong understanding of DMBoK (Data Management Body of Knowledge) topics 

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or Business Administration with a focus on data.
  • Good understanding of data architecture and system integration would be an asset.
  • Willing to attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); any additional language will be considered a strong asset.
  • Good problem solving skills, analytical approach and research-oriented.
  • Passion for excellence.
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills and a customer-cantered mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural fast-pacing environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
  • Flexible working hours and a work from home policy.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
