We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team as a SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) & Facilities Management Support Manager. This is your chance to play a vital part in shaping a positive, safe, and sustainable work environment for everyone.

This role will see you based out of our Birmingham office near to Birmingham Airport, with regular national travel to our sites up and down the country.

SHEQ & FM Management – Key Responsibilities

  • Champion and implement robust Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) culture across all sites.
  • Provide facilities management support ensuring buildings and assets remain safe, compliant, and operational.
  • Coordinate site inspections, audits, and compliance checks — managing actions to closure in a timely fashion.
  • Support colleagues at all levels in understanding SHEQ and FM policies, promoting best practice through guidance, training and communication.
  • Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis, ensuring incidents are recorded, reported, and lessons shared.
  • Monitor and manage risk assessments and ensure ongoing compliance with UK HSE legislative requirements.
  • Develop and deliver SHEQ & FM awareness training, empowering teams to meet and exceed standards.
  • Manage the supply chain for facilities and SHEQ-related services, ensuring high standards and value for money.

SHEQ & Facilities Support – About You

  • Experience in SHEQ management, facilities management, or a similar environment such as property, retail, or logistics.
  • Well-versed in UK health and safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards.
  • Strong problem solver, able to work independently while collaborating effectively with your team and stakeholders.
  • Organised, detail-orientated, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities comfortably.
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to coach, train and influence people at all levels.
  • IT literate, confident using compliance and reporting systems.
  • Full UK driver’s licence is essential.
