Are you passionate about health, safety, environment, and quality—and ready to make a real impact? At NCP, we’re looking for a proactive and energetic SHEQ Advisor to support our Southern operations and help embed a positive, risk-aware culture across the business.
In this role, you’ll work closely with operational teams, promote safe working practices, conduct site visits, and drive compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures. If you’re collaborative, analytical, and passionate about making workplaces safer and more sustainable, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health and safety site inspections and patrols, identifying hazards and ensuring compliance
• Promote and embed SHEQ best practice, policies, and procedures across the region
• Support incident investigations and produce clear, concise root cause reports
• Deliver coaching and presentations on SHEQ topics at all business levels
• Monitor SHEQ KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement plans
• Support environmental, fire safety, and quality compliance across multiple sites
• Assist in preparing for audits and achieving accreditations (ISO9001, ISO14001, etc.)
• Foster a strong SHEQ culture by building trust and influencing key stakeholders
• Work flexibly, including occasional overnight travel across the UK
What We’re Looking For:
• NEBOSH Certificate (or working towards) in Health & Safety
• Experience with ISO14001 and ISO9001 standards (Lead Auditor qualification preferred)
• Associate Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent (or working towards)
• Knowledge of fire safety and risk assessments
• Analytical mindset with strong reporting and communication skills
• Confident engaging people at all levels and promoting a safety-first mindset
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
