The Senior Typhoon Qualified Dual Pilot / Simulator Instructor<\/b> is responsible for the delivery and supervision of advanced Typhoon pilot training<\/b>, encompassing both airborne and synthetic instruction<\/b> for the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF). This includes leading, mentoring, and assessing QEAF pilots across the full training continuum — from ab -initio to instructor level — and ensuring seamless integration between live and simulator -based training programs.

The incumbent serves as the Senior BAE Systems Typhoon Instructor<\/b>, providing strategic oversight of instructional staff and mission system support personnel, and acting as the company’s principal liaison with senior QEAF training authorities.

Core Responsibilities:<\/b>

<\/p>- Conduct airborne and synthetic flight
instruction for QEAF Typhoon student and qualified pilots in
accordance with the approved Typhoon Training Syllabus.
<\/span><\/li>- Deliver classroom -based theoretical instruction
covering Typhoon systems, avionics, weapons, and operational procedures.
<\/span><\/li>- Utilize Typhoon Mission Training Simulators, Avionics Part Task Trainers, and other ground -based training
devices to deliver and evaluate performance.
<\/span><\/li>- Ensure adherence to safety procedures and training
quality standards during all instructional activities.
<\/span><\/li>- Provide leadership and oversight for two Typhoon
Instructor Pilots and four Mission System Support (MSS) Clerks.
<\/span><\/li>- Oversee daily training operations and act as the Instructional
Lead for BAE Systems’ Typhoon training team in Qatar.
<\/span><\/li>- Mentor and support QEAF instructors, promoting
standardization and excellence in all training phases.
<\/span><\/li>- Assist QEAF with the design, development, and
refinement of pilot training syllabi, academic materials, and
simulator missions.
<\/span><\/li>- Generate, configure, and validate mission
scenarios, ensuring operational realism and alignment with current Typhoon
capabilities.
<\/span><\/li>- Support QEAF in maintaining compliance with STANEVAL and operational readiness requirements.
<\/span><\/li>- Act as the senior point of contact for customer -facing
training matters, maintaining close liaison with QEAF senior officers.
<\/span><\/li>- Support customer and BAE Systems design reviews and training audits, providing expert input on flight operations
and instructional methodology.
<\/span><\/li>- Advise on integration of new Typhoon operational
capabilities, ensuring that training content reflects the latest systems
and tactics.
<\/span><\/li>- Conduct pre -flight briefings, post -flight
debriefings, and performance evaluations for students and instructors.
<\/span><\/li>- Produce detailed training reports and student
progress assessments in accordance with QEAF and BAE Systems
standards.

scenarios, and student performance.

Requirements<\/h3>Qualifications and Experience:<\/b>
<\/p>- Be a qualified aircrew instructor in
airborne, academic and the operation of the training devices.
<\/span><\/li>- Use the QEAF assets to conduct airborne
instruction in the Typhoon.
<\/span><\/li>- Utilise the aircraft Mission Training
Simulators, and teaching devices to provide ground based pilot training at the
training centre and on the Squadron.
<\/span><\/li>- To maintain knowledge of current
aircraft operations, the aircraft and weapons configuration as capability is
introduced or enhanced.
