About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-value, cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery. In this role, you will oversee robotics and manufacturing-related projects, ensuring they meet operational, financial, and strategic goals. You will manage diverse teams spanning engineering, logistics, supply chain, and production, while coordinating closely with global suppliers and partners to achieve timely, high-quality outcomes. As a cultural and operational bridge between Europe, the US, and Asia, you will foster strong collaboration, drive process integration at production sites, and uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your leadership will be key to building high-performing teams, navigating complex challenges, and delivering impactful results.
Your Responsibilities
  • Lead complex projects with budgets exceeding €1M, from planning through to successful implementation
  • Ensure alignment of project goals with operational, financial, and strategic objectives
  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, logistics, supply chain, and production
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Build and lead a high-performing project and operations team on-site
  • Monitor progress at production sites and ensure seamless integration of new processes or products
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders in English, German, and ideally Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Serve as a cultural and operational bridge between international teams, partners, and suppliers, particularly in Europe, the US, and Asia
  • Prepare and present status reports, risk assessments, and updates to senior leadership
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience managing production or operations-related projects
  • Proven track record leading projects with budgets over €1M
  • Experience building teams and managing onsite production or assembly activities
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and multicultural communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ERP systems)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
  • Fluency in English and German is required
  • Mandarin Chinese is a strong advantage
