The MCC - Senior Coordinator is the direct point of contact for all maintenance stations within the EAT Part145 network. He/she ensures that all aircraft undergoing maintenance at EAT Part145 stations are processed smoothly.
Support of the MCC Duty Manager in daily tasks
Technical support for all EAT Part 145 stations in all matters
Monitoring of layover times and coordination of major events and AOG recovery
Creation of a maintenance plan for major maintenance events (Gantt chart)
Continuous tracking of expected release times for non-operational aircraft and initiation of measures to minimize impact on the DHL network
Close cooperation with the Operator MOCs
Verification of completeness and correctness of incoming aircraft documentation from EAT Part 145 maintenance stations
Coordination of work packages in LEJ together with the Work Preparation Coordinator and ensuring timely execution
Coordination of technical defects with the Troubleshooting and Engineering departments
Support of third-party activities as needed
Issuing external orders to subcontractors according to maintenance requirements
Notification to the aircraft owner in case of maintenance plan changes affecting the scheduled ground time
Support the arrangement of “flying spanners” for specific aircraft routes and additional charters for EAT personnel at all EAT Part 145 outstations
Other tasks arising from operational business
Coordination of daily inquiries to the MCC
Written and verbal correspondence on all operational matters
Monitoring and ensuring maintenance and layover reporting to all assigned departments
Execution of special tasks and project work
Adherence to company policies
Following process efficiency and suggesting workflow improvements
Assignment of work activities via AMOS Mobile
Support with troubleshooting or technical discrepancies in the hangar, on the apron, and at EAT outstations
Ensuring continuous, high-quality reporting according to existing guidelines
Data collection and processing for KPI evaluation
Relevant knowledge in aircraft maintenance and the organizational requirements for flight safety, security, quality, airworthiness, and general airline operations
Holder of an EASA Part 66 CAT B1 or CAT B2 license for aircraft maintenance
At least one operationally relevant type rating
Comprehensive understanding of the German/European legal and regulatory framework and other statutory requirements
Strong interpersonal skills
Good leadership and management abilities
Decisiveness and assertiveness to find flexible, creative solutions in a complex environment
Proven analytical skills
