Are you a seasoned fast jet pilot with a passion for operational excellence and airborne leadership? Draken Europe is seeking a Senior Base Pilot to lead flight operations at one of our strategic European bases, supporting cutting-edge Warfare Training missions across NATO and Allied Partners.

Your Mission

Reporting directly to the Fleet Captain, you’ll be the cornerstone of safe, legal, and efficient flight operations. You’ll oversee a high-performance team of aircrew, ensuring readiness, compliance, and mission success across a range of advanced fast jet platforms.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Championing a culture of safety, compliance, and integrity across all operations.
• Leading airborne missions and detachments with precision and authority.
• Managing crew performance, development, and succession planning.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, including ground ops, EW teams, and airport authorities.
• Supporting commercial bids and representing Draken in strategic forums.

What You Bring

• A valid Professional Pilot’s Licence with 1,000+ hours on fast jet aircraft.
• Command status on aircraft used in Warfare Training roles.
• Proven experience in civil and military aviation operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A deep understanding of customer mission requirements and platform capabilities.
